Summary

It is very difficult to impose target levels on building parameters or to determine the magnitude of these parameters’ influence on the possibilities of main taining the different primary target levels. It is recommended that suppliers of equipment state their requirements in terms of specific values for the appropriate parameters, e. g., contaminant concentration, humidity, temperature, and vibrations. It is also recommended that the design of the ventilation systems and the building be done in close cooperation. There are many details in a building’s construction that could influence the performance of the ventilation system and thus also the target levels.
